Columbus Middle School
Planet Green Recycle and Columbus Middle School teamed up for an ink recycling fundraising drive. Students played a big part in the planning and execution of the day. Planet Green Recycle posed the question “What Does Recycling Mean to You?” The students answered by competing to see who can make the most creative ink cartridge recycling receptacle.
Operation Gratitude
“Our volunteers were researching companies that recycle cartridges and we came across a local company Planet Green.”
Operation Gratitude annually sends 150,000-plus care packages filled with snacks, hygiene, entertainment and handmade items, plus personal letters of support, to New Recruits, Veterans, First Responders, Wounded Warriors and their Care Givers, and to individually-named U.S. Service Members deployed overseas. Donations and fundraising are important to our cause.
“Since partnering with Planet Green Recycle we’ve almost raised $10,000. “We recommend this program to any organization looking to recycle ink cartridges. We found their representatives to be very friendly and helpful. You only stand to benefit.”

UCLA’s Anderson School of Management
During the summer of 2010, UCLA’s Anderson School of Management teamed up with Planet Green to provide a tour of the facility to 16 international students and chaperones. The Anderson School of Management offers degree and non-degree programs to work on real-world management challenges in a team setting.
They were given the opportunity to see step by step the detailed process it takes to clean and refill an inkjet cartridge we receive. The students took many notes as they stopped at each station and seeing first hand how it all works. They asked tons of questions about running and implementing a successful “green” business as well as the day-to-day operations that go along with it.
